In 2005 Tasos Tzalazidis and visual artist Niko Mainaris decided to create “koukoutsi” which means in greek pit of a fruit. It’s the seed for something new and the same time ecological. The idea behind was to create unique graphic designs and illustrations printed primary on T-shirts but the range of products expanded with accessories, bags, ceramic mugs, hoodies and sweatshirts the last years.

We use only organic cotton fabrics which are produced under ethical and sustainable conditions and are Fairwear certified. The prints are made in our own lab in the center of Athens. We do follow a slow fashion policy because we believe that our designs and collections are timeless.

In 2023 we decided to open a new phisical store called “artisserie” at Nikiou Street 15, in the heart of historical Athens which offers additionally a wide range of artworks, prints and posters. Scroll down for more informations…
