In 2005 the visual artist Niko Mainaris and Tasos Tzalazidis decided to create “koukoutsi” which means in greek pit of a fruit. The idea behind was to create unique graphic designs and illustrations printed primary on T-shirts but the range of products expanded with accessories, bags, ceramic mugs, hoodies and sweatshirts the last years.

We use only 100% organic cotton fabrics which are produced under ethical and sustainable conditions and are Fairwear certified. The prints are made in our own lab in the center of Athens. We do follow a slow fashion policy because we believe that our designs and collections are timeless.
